Costanzo Lab!

At Cal Poly (a primarily undergraduate institution), we focus on the use and development of simple and efficient chemistry to prepare novel and dynamic materials.

Over the past nineteen years, a total of one hundred and thirty-three (133) undergraduate students including women, men, first-generation college students, students from under-represented groups and students of various gender identities and sexual orientations have participated in the Crew. Over 40% (56 individuals) of graduated students have gone on to pursue their PhD in chemistry. Over 90% of graduated students have been placed in graduate school or industry. Our goal is to train and develop the next generation of scientist and assist them in their growth and development.
